absolute extrema for strictly decreasing function

This video (request by viewer) covers finding the absolute extrema of a function by showing that the function strictly decreasing. For this question, I show how the derivative of the function is always negative, then conclude that the original function is strictly decreasing. This method for finding absolute extrema is alternate to the closed interval method.
