ONE DAY OLD BABY GORILLA TOUCHED BY SISTER THANDIE

The gorilla family in Antwerpen has a new family member! Baby 'V' was born on 24th of June 2020. We don't know yet if it's a boy or girl but we do know that it's name will start with the letter 'V'. Because in Belgium it's the year of the letter 'V'.

The mother of this little one is Mambele and the father is Matadi.
The little one has a bigger (half)sister called Thandie (born 26-11-2018). Thandie is a daughter of Matadi and Mayani. It's amazing how Mambele lets Thandie come so close to her and the baby and even touch the baby sometimes.

I hope you'll enjoy these tender moments of baby gorilla 'V' being one day old.

*You might notice Mambele her mouth is a lot open, she does that when she's relaxed. I used to do that too, that's why I find her so special*
