Escape from Makalu (April 2015/Nepal earthquake)

This movie was edited with photo and video took by my friend Ken.
He has been in Makalu advanced base camp(5700m) when M7.8 earthquake occurred at the district of Lamjung, Nepal.

Makalu is located about 300km east from epicenter.
And Ken felt over M4 earthquake at the Makalu ABC.
5 parties/30 climbers and guides discussed about risk from influence and so on, finally they agreed not to continue climbing.

Fortunately Ken and his team could arrange a helicopter return to Kathmandu.
You can find Lhotse and Ama Dablum from helicopter flight over 5000m.
