Osprey Exos 58 Review: The Good, The Bad, & The Meh
I wanted to share my thoughts on this backpack after owning it for nearly a year and taking it on about ten trips. There are things I love about it, pieces I don’t love, and features that could go either way- depending on *your* specific needs.
Specs:
- 3 volumes: 38l, 48l, and 58l
- 3 frame sizes: S, M, and L
- 2 color options: black and green
- About $200 price range
- Regardless of the volume and frame sizes, all models are well under 3 lbs.
I have never approached maxing out the volume of the 58, have found it to be a comfortable carry at a variety of weights, and always remove the top pocket. I would recommend this backpack to a weight conscious backpacker who is looking for a good 3-season pack that carries a solid warranty and can handle a range of trips and conditions.
