The True XC9 Shoulder Pads boast extensive coverage and protection with unique adjustment features in key areas. The 3-piece front panel excels player mobility while allowing the protection to move and contour to the body during hockey movements. The front and back panels feature similar protection with the use of compressed EVA foam and surrounding medium-density foam. This allows the XC9's to remain lightweight without sacrificing protection for the player. Helping to disperse impact energy away from the shoulder joint, the XC9's shoulder caps embody hard PE plastic construction with a ribbed design.
