Fixing a Dead Controller Part 1 – Replaced Faulty Components (No Battery Power)

In this video (Part 1), I begin diagnosing and repairing a faulty, unidentified controller that isn’t supplying power to the battery. The board showed no battery output, so I started by replacing key components suspected to be causing the issue.

What you'll see in this part:

Initial inspection of the unknown controller PCB
Identifying possible faulty components
Replacing capacitors, resistors, and/or ICs as part of the first repair steps
Basic testing and observations post-replacement
This is the first step in bringing this mystery controller back to life. Stay tuned for Part 2, where I’ll continue troubleshooting and testing for battery output.

🛠️ Issue: No battery output from controller
📦 Device: Unknown controller (model not labeled)
🔧 Tools used: Soldering iron, multimeter, tweezers, flux
♻️ Parts source: Salvaged components from scrap boards
