In Making a knife from Ground Zero part 2 we will grind the profile, the bevels and the tang. I will walk you through how to use clay to create hamon lines and also walk you through the entire heat treating process! Clay hamons are awesome! Clay is used to deferentially heat treat the knife leaving the spine soft and also leaving behind beautiful activity on the finished blade!
