Ukrainian Crisis through our eyes.
Both Andrey and I have a slavic heritage. Both of us have extended family back in Ukraine, Belarus and Russia. This is why it’s so hard to talk about the Ukrainian conflict, a lot of slavic people have families on all sides and do NOT want this war caused by geopolitics. One thing for sure the hardships are just starting for the Ukrainian people and there will be a lot of refugees. Our families came to this country as refugees back in the 1990s due to heavy religious persecution. This is the reason why it is personal to us, helping the refugees through the hard transition that they will face. We understand that the hardships are going to be extensive socially, mentally and financially. We are personally working with a ministry that was and is in Moldova, who are now helping Ukrainian refugees. It was important to us to work with some one we can trust and who has a long history of helping people in need (they have being helping neglected, abused and needy kids in Moldova, and now these kids are helping the refugees along with the ministry).
