Belgiums Mass Shooting's Don't Make Sense

Between 1982 and 1985, three masked gunmen killed 28 people in Belgian supermarkets, wounded 22 more, and stole roughly €175,000 across the entire spree. The Belgian state never identified them. In 2024, the case was officially closed.

This is the Brabant Killers case. It is the worst peacetime murder spree in Belgian history and one of the most thoroughly documented institutional failures in modern European law enforcement.
