Crown Lift Trucks Service Technician Vincent Lozada on Universal Technical Institute

After working dead-end jobs in warehouses and delivering products to hospitals, Vincent Lozada knew it was time to make a change in his life. At the age of 39, he decided to attend Universal Technical Institute (UTI) to help advance into a more promising career for himself and his family.

Vincent says changing careers mid-life can be challenging, but if you're unhappy, it's worth making the effort to find something more fulfilling. He says a year in school at UTI went by incredibly quickly.

The curriculum at Universal Technical Institute is geared toward all students interested in joining today's diesel workforce. Enrolling in UTI does not require previous diesel experience. Our students span from having zero prior diesel knowledge to those who come from a family of mechanics but are looking to further their abilities.
