There was a period of time when it seemed as though Elle Fanning was always going to be stuck in her older sister Dakota’s shadow. The two siblings admit they haven’t always gotten along, especially when Dakota scored a part on a popular sitcom that Elle was desperate to get. But now, Elle has stepped out of Dakota’s shadow and fans are looking forward to seeing her reprise her role as Princess Aurora in the movie Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. And it turns out Elle’s true passion is music and she dreams of someday becoming a pop star. While that may be a goal for the future, she does get to show off her singing talent in the movie Teen Spirit.
