In feel good news and current events today, a mother and daughter duo have both graduate from medical school... at the same time.

Dr. Cynthia Kudji, an immigrant from Ghana, and her daughter, Dr. Jasmine Kudji, have both overcome hardship and hard times in order to graduate from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans. The mother daughter duo are truly inseperable, as they are both currently doing their residency at the same hospital system, Louisiana State University Heath. These two Black women are blazing a new trail in medicine, and have founded their own blog M.D. Life to offer support and guidance to Black people and people of color who are looking to begin careers in the field of medicine.
