David Cassidy performs Lee Dorsey's tune, ~ La La ~ @ Tropicana Resort/Showroom July 26, 2013

David Cassidy added a bit of Mystery Theater dedicated to a couple of his friends, in love, who were unaware of this impromptu musical hug with Lee Dorsey's catchy tune, "Ya Ya". This curious musical departure was a joy to hear David perform & also a fun, enigmatic prelude to the song, enjoyed by folks guessing in the audience; the lovers alone knew or would learn the answer to the puzzle.
On an interesting note, this tune was covered briefly by John Lennon on his 1974 album "Walls and Bridges", featuring his son, little Julian on drums (11 years old at the time) & then covered the song on his 1975 album, "Rock 'n' Roll".
