Coincidence led our path to a remote finca in the Western cloud forest of Ecuador. From the closest city, you take a two hours' bus ride to a small village in a colorful Andean valley. From there, every Sunday a truck full of farmers goes up a dirt track. After one hour, you get off and hike another hour on a narrow path through dense forest. Finally, our Finca appears in front of your eyes, dark and mystical. No neighbours are in sight and nobody passes by. Strange birds sing songs from another world. Here you could stay for the rest of your life without ever returning to civilization. You could forget the world and be forgotten by it.

Our stay on "The Finca" will perhaps always remain that one legendary chapter of our life we will never stop refering to. That time when everything was perfect, when we felt like gods.
