Murder of Jews in Babi Yar
Dina Levina who was born in 1927 in Kiev and was living there during the war years recalls how following the German order she together with her family and her Jewish neighbors went to the Babi Yar ravine, being deceived into believing that they were going to be resettled, how after arriving there they were robbed of their documents and of their possessesions, and forced to strip to the underwear. Levina tells how she and other Jews were brought to the edge of the ravine and were fired upon by machine gun and how she flew down into the ravine and was buried under the bodies and how after the shooting was over she managed to crawled out of the ravine and return home.Interview conducted by the USC Shoah Foundation Institute.
