Shipbuilding: Aircraft Carrier Bow Lift
Huntington Ingalls Industries' Newport News Shipbuilding division lifted the upper bow section onto aircraft carrier John F. Kennedy’s (CVN 79), signalling the completion of the ship's flight deck.
The ship is in the early stages of its testing program and is on schedule to launch during the fourth quarter.
