Here's my review of the Neewer NW-800. There's a lot of urban legends surrounding the Neewer NW-800 and the NW-700. Most of the discussion has to do with the internal circuit boards and the confusion around which microphone includes which board. Regardless of the internet stories, the particular mic I purchased sounds really bad in my opinion. If you own and enjoy the NW-800 there's nothing wrong with that (you are entitled to your own opinion).
