KUNGSLEDEN - Abisko to Saltoluokta (PART 1/2)

Kungsleden is a world famous trail that stretches 450km's from Abisko to Hemavan in the far northern reaches of Sweden's Lapland. With the help of my good friend Dana Tauderer from Austria, we spent 16 days on the trail together from Abisko to the halfway point in Kvikkjokk documenting the good times.

I decided to separate the hike into three separate segments in order to give everyone a more in-depth look of the trail and to feel more included in the experience.

- Abisko to Saltoluokta (Part 1 & Part 2):
These episodes focus on the journey from Abisko National Park to Saltoluokta including the different crossings, short detours and what to look out for.

- Kebnekaise (Durlings Led):
As the name suggests, this episode brings us to the top of Sweden via the route known as 'Durlings Led'. This is a lesser known route with minimal contact which is why I wanted to give this section it's own spotlight.

- Saltoluokta to Kvikkjokk (Part 1 & Part 2):
These episodes focus on the journey from Saltoluokta to Kvikkjokk including another major lake crossing, Skierfe mountain and other small detours.
