Vietnam in 4th Wave Lock Down - No International Flights [News Update June 2021]

Vietnam is officially in lock down until further notice. It will last for 2 weeks, but may be extended later. The number of cases so far is 6,086 which is the most so far out of any wave. Even so, Vietnam is extremely safe and the government has done an amazing job at responding to the virus.
All International flights are closed until June 4th, and may be extended if needed. The government also extended the required amount of days for quarantine for international arrivals to 21 days at a hotel, and 10 days at home, making it a total of 31 days (previously it was only 14 days).
I get many questions on my channel about how the state of Vietnam and when the borders will open. This is pretty big news to anyone looking to travel, but the rules remain the same: no flights yet. Maybe with the distribution of the vaccine, Vietnam will consider opening up to tourist visas again, but for now anything we say is just speculation until we hear a official announcement.
