Nakshatra Devatas as the Divine Forces - from "Divine forces of the Lunar Nakshatras" (6)
#Divineforces #Divinenakshatras #nakshatrasdivineforces
In this episode, Radhe outlines the main classification of the Nakshatras into 3 main groups, reflecting the Hindu Trinity: The heavenly Vishnu/sustainer types (Aditi & the 12 Adityas), the atmospheric Shiva/destroyer types (Rudra and the 11 Rudras), and the Earthly Brahma/creator types (Agni and the 8 Vasus). This also includes Pajaupati and Brihaspati, and the Pitris (the Ancestors).

Aum Namaste. My Name is Dustin Cormier. I am a Tropical Vedic Astrologer living in Ontario, Canada.
Welcome to my series on the Vedic "Lunar asterisms" known as the 27 Nakshatras. The Nakshatras consist of 27 constellations that are each resided by a deity which bears its own rich mythos in Indian culture and Spiritual literature, and can illuminate paths of wisdom for modern people to discover.
Astrologically, the Nakshatras provide a hidden dimension of the natal horoscope which has eluded Western Astrologers. They are actually considered by many (including Vic Dicara) to be "the authentic heart of Vedic Astrology." The Vedic myths of the Nakshatras contain stories which all of us are doomed to repeat until we hold their lessons in our hearts (as it is with all Vedic scripture); and this is especially so for those who have indications of poor planetary associations with specific Nakshatras in their natal chart.
We must remember that while every reading aims to integrate and overlay the "bones" of the Nakshatras upon the "skin/muscles" of the Tropical Rashis so that we understand them as being together in a reading, the present stage of the procession of the Equinox is never fixed, which means that the Tropical signs are drifting against the backdrop of the sidereal nakshatras over the course of thousands of years (according to Tropical Vedic Astrology). Thus we must respect these individual elements of the horoscope (The 12 rashi zodiac vs The 27 Nakshatras) as being separate from each other ontologically, while still appreciating them as being one and the same cosmically.
