Busy Afternoon Planespotting at Sydney Airport, SYD | High Winds & Go Around!

My first time spotting at Sydney Airport. After arriving from Nadi on the Fiji Airways A330 which is seen in this video I had around a 5 hour wait for my connection to Cairns. So I decided to find somewhere to do some filming. Having looked on here at other videos and had a little look on google myself I found this spot! Brilliant vantage point from the top of the International Car Park. The only downside on this particular day was the weather...
A very gusty day with winds blasting the airport from the west and being on top of a car park means it was quite exposed. For some time they were using RWY34L & R before an approaching storm, which passed just north of the airport swapped most of the activity onto the single, crossing runway, RWY25! I've been to Sydney quite a few times actually and have never seen RWY25 in use so made for quite an interesting video. The odd handful of heavies continued to arrive and depart using RWY34L but nearly everything else, including A380's, 747's & MD-11's continued to use RWY25. I'm sure quite a challenging day for ATC, getting Australia's busiest airport down to single runway operation for the majority of the afternoon. Towards the very end of the video you will see a Qantas A330 performing a go around, due to another Qantas A330 still sat on the runway waiting for departure.
During some of the shots I zoomed out and you can see quite a large weather system which passed to the north of the airport, presumably what bought the high wind with it, resulting in the runway swap to avoid it.
Overall a very good spotting session, lots of different carriers and aircraft also 2x of my favoruite aircraft ever, the MD-11's! 2 FedEx MD-11's arrived within an hour.

Also worth noting was the Etihad A380 arrival. Almost a day late arriving from Abu Dhabi due to a medical diversion to Colombo, Sri Lanka. Which resulted in the aircraft not making it to Sydney before the night closure and the crew then being out of operating hours. The flight was filmed arriving at Sydney 22 hours late!
All in all with the weather and single runway operations and very busy day for Sydney airport! At one point there were 7 planes waiting for departure with a continuous stream of arrivals all on the same runway.
Apologies for the wind noise and shaky footage in places, I didn't have my tripod with me in Australia.
