We do not know a lot about Los Alcarson. We beleive the group was formed in France after the success of the latin groups formed outside of South America, such as Trio Los Panchos and Los Machucambos.

The group released some records in early 60s, including "Espana en cha cha", "Sabeline", "Perfidia", "Esperanza","Cuando Caliento El Sol" and "Amor, Amor".
Following the success of "Amanacer Guajiro" and especially "Como Yo te Quiero", the lead singer "Juanito" left the group and enjoyed a very successful solo career in Turkey in the second half of the 60s and early 70s.
