How to Stretch Watercolor Paper WITHOUT GUMMED TAPE
A demonstration on how to stretch watercolor paper using strips of paper and white or wood glue instead of gummed paper. Gummed paper tends to stick inconsistently, causing the watercolor paper to become un-stretched, and, thus, to buckle. Masking tape is not a good alternative for the same reason.
Materials needed: watercolor paper, strips of acid-free drawing or sketching paper, white or wood glue, water, flat bristled paintbrush, board to stretch the watercolor paper onto.
