Did you know that Israel's longest tunnel (13km long!) will be used to distribute water to Jerusalem?

The project, a joint venture between Zublin-Jager & Mekorot (Israel's national water carrier), began a couple years ago. They are currently installing the water pipe which is more than 2 meters in diameter!

After boring the tunnel the cement-lined concrete pipe is installed and welded together. Each section weighs more than 50 tons! Concrete is then poured around the pipe to keep it in place.

Zublin-Jager wanted to document the concrete pour to ensure proper distribution. That's where we came into the picture.

They installed inspection conduits around the pipe. We put our CCTV camera through those conduits and into the void. We saw and recorded the concrete being successfully pumped into the void.
