Visiting The Barco HQ, A True Critical Decision-Making Lab

Just after visiting TCCA’s Critical Communications World, I was invited by Kurt de Buck Campaign Marketing Manager Operator Experience) to visit the HQ of Barco, located in the city of Kortrijk, Belgium. The visit was a real eye opener as Mathias Stael (Solution Architect Enterprise), demonstrated to me; a flawless presentation of synchronisation of audio visuals on the Barco RGB laser ODL-721 video wall, software that interconnects critical control rooms and extremely bright visuals on the award winning Barco Unisee LCD video wall. I was also updated on the technicalities of video walls and we talked about when to choose front or rear acces video walls and we discussed smart solutions for critical control rooms, such as Barco’s OpSpace.

This visit to the critical decision-making lab was a true experience and one that I will not soon forget.
