How many people died on both DEATH STARS combined?

While the rebellion is without a doubt the HERO of the original trilogy in regards to its defeat of the Empire, I wanted to take a closer look at the death toll linked to each Death Stars destruction. A lot of innocent people died at the hands of the rebellion. While we dont necessarily see it that way in the films, some books have explored this topic and I find it very interesting. I am also referencing a VERY old book from 1991 that seemed to have the most definitive numbers on how many people served on the battle station during its destruction.
