Vote 99 - Birth of a New Scotland

On May 6, 1999, voters in Scotland went to the polls to elect the first Scottish Parliament in 300 years. Join STV’s Special Correspondent Bernard Ponsonby as he as looks back on the birth of a new Scotland and asks what the parliament has achieved over the past 20 years.

The programme includes new interviews with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, Lord Jack McConnell, Wendy Alexander, Lord Jim Wallace, Baroness Annabel Goldie, Dennis Canavan and Andrew Wilson.
