What do we need for a just food transition?

"It is estimated that the world's population will reach 9.7 billion by 2064. That figure poses a huge challenge. How do we ensure that everyone has enough to eat? Our global food system is no longer sufficient. Not only does it create unacceptable environmental impacts, it is also deeply unfair. For example, food is not distributed evenly around the world, and some people have limited access to it.

According to ecological economist Dr Julia Tschersich (UU), change is needed. How do we ensure a just and inclusive food transition, without destroying the earth?"
