A Michigan man, Corey Harris, 44, attended a virtual court hearing in Washtenaw County on May 15 while actively driving under a suspended license. Harris, scheduled for charges from an earlier arrest, was seen driving during the Zoom session, prompting Judge J. Cedric Simpson to ask if he was driving. Despite Harris claiming he was parking, he continued to drive, leading Simpson to revoke his bond and order him to turn himself in by 6 p.m. that day. Harris expressed disbelief at the situation, saying, "Oh my god," before being released from custody two days later. He is set to appear in court again on June 5.
