Another Eternabond BandAid Failure? 2004 National Dolphin

Look...I get it, roof repair tapes are easy and can work sometimes. However, they cannot fix loose trim or components and can cause more issues by trapping water or creating a channel to direct water into a roof. Don't forget, eternabond and lap sealants are merely flashing that re-direct water, not seal a roof!!

In this video, I had a customer call out with a 2004 National Dolphin. They had recently purchased this RV and found there was a large leak at the passenger front cap during our winter Arizona rains. They had a few other roof issues also. I thought the front leak was fairly obvious and did not record it as it was so clear. But as I started the repair I found out the factory never built this motor home front roof correctly and had been leaking since day one. I understand being lazy, but the factory worker should have easily recognized the screws on the front cap trim did not hit any structure.
