Ron DeSantis mocks Nikki Haley's Caitlin Clark flub by giving CNN anchor her jersey

Gov. Ron DeSantis kicked off his town hall by gifting CNN moderator Kaitlan Collins a basketball jersey to mock the way Haley mixed up Collins’ name with that of Iowa Hawkeyes basketball superstar Caitlin Clark.

“I heard the other day someone say that Kaitlan Collins has some basketball skills,” he said. “Now, I don’t know if that was a mistake or not, but I know in Iowa they have a Caitlin Clark. So, I just want to give you this as a memento.”
