Inquest reveals dangers of heat and physical exertion at sport's elite level

This week the coronial inquest into the death of Manly Sea Eagle Keith Titmuss concluded, raising questions about whether sporting codes are doing enough to prevent heat related illness. Titmuss collapsed at a training session in 2020, and died shortly after in hospital. What could have been done differently in this case and do sporting organisations need to take heat related injuries more seriously?
