CCTV's Mike Kirsch reports on Tijuana's manufacturing boom, whose skilled workforce attracts over 600 companies.

Tijuana is located on the US/Mexican border along the Pacific Rim, just minutes south of San Diego, California. With decades-long co-production agreements and binational funding to improve supply chain efficiencies, Tijuana is one of Mexico’s most important cities and industrial hubs. Manufacturing plants, called maquiladoras, are responsible for exporting $293 billion in goods a year back to the US.
