Hi there! A lot of times when I sit down to create a collage I find a ton of cool images and combinations, but sometimes can't finish a piece and I have to set it aside for a bit. Today I am revisiting some ideas I had forgotten about and try to finish them!

Creating a handmade custom DIY art collage is easy! I share my tips and techniques on how I create my analog collages as I cut out pictures and illustrations out by hand with a small pair of scissors and an craft knife. Finding inspiration from old books is one of the most fun steps to this process. These can come from used books, textbooks, magazines, vintage postcards, or anything else you can find lying around your house. Watch as I arrange my elements and try different ideas as I talk through my process to create my final design.

Collages made out of paper have a custom made feel that you can't get from a digital collage made in Photoshop. And, there is an added challenge of only being able to use materials that you have access to!
