Taylor Frankie Paul Shares Pointed Mother's Day Post amid Legal Battle with Ex Dakota Mortensen
Taylor Frankie Paul shared a pointed social media post on Mother's Day about feeling a "lack of empathy," just over a week after a judge granted her and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, mutual protective orders for three years during a hearing regarding the custody arrangement for their 2-year-old son, Ever.

"It’s Mother’s Day, so I’ll say whatever I want," Paul, 31, began her lengthy caption. "As if it’s not already the worst time. I STILL have 'friends' kicking me while I’m already down and calling it 'setting a boundary' and then [BLAMING] ME for being upset and responding."

What a snake friend just did to me in the public eye after everything she just witnessed…the lack of empathy and silence was loud enough," she continued in part, seemingly referring to her Secret Lives of Mormon Wives castmate Mikayla Matthews' recent comments about feeling "fed up" with the legal issues involving Paul.

After leveling different allegations and claims surrounding the drama regarding her relationship with Mortensen and her family life, Paul circled back to her Mother's Day messaging, sending well wishes to "all the moms out there💕."

"Of course I’m spiraling… people calling me out yet I can’t respond? Exactly what I will NOT be tolerating ever again," she concluded. "Thank you GOD for the people you sent to help me through this with my enemies so close."
In an accompanying Instagram Stories post, Paul shared a teary-eyed selfie. Alongside it, she wrote: "I will not be sitting down, staying silent or logging off."

"I did that for years on this. Trust me I can take a beating whether it's physical, emotional, or public scrutiny. Anyone else want to speak up? Please do," she added.

Paul's posts were shared after a judge granted her 12 hours of parent-time with her son, Ever, on Mother's Day. Paul's overall parent time per week was also expanded to 12 hours per week, up from her previous eight, per the judge's order reviewed by PEOPLE.

During the April 30 hearing, which was livestreamed, Commissioner Russell Minas told the courtroom that the former couple can't be in the same place at the same time for very long before “it turns violent."

He also told Paul and Mortensen, 33, “You're linked together for the remainder of your lives," he continued. "This is your legacy." Minas touched on the two's impact on their child, saying, "You're modeling right now how you deal with conflict to a 2-year-old," and added that this could "affect" Ever when he "grows up and becomes an adult."

He also emphasized the parents' need to put their child first. "I'm hoping you're not just people who thrive on the drama and the conflict," he said, adding, “You have to figure out how to function as coparents. This is dysfunctional.”
