TABLET REVIEW ✦ XP-PEN DECO PRO

Hi guys! A while ago, I was given the wonderful opportunity to review XP-PEN's Deco Pro tablet! I spent a lot of time with this tablet in order to properly assess the product, and I'd like to share the information I gained with you! And a big thank you to @konvee_kou on twitter for editing the speedpaint portion of this video!

Onto the basics: The XP-PEN Deco Pro (S) is a graphics tablet that is compatible with Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android! It comes in small and medium sizes. Its design won a Red Dot Award for its sleek product design. Further information can be found on the XP-PEN website, which I will link at the bottom of this post & on a pin in the comments.

PACKAGING & DESIGN: 『 ✦✦✦✦✦ 』

The Deco Pro only uses one cable to connect to your drawing device, so it doesn’t clutter your drawing space and feels very stylish. It’s a lightweight tablet with no extraneous parts, so it is easy to carry around.

The Deco Pro's work area will light up in blue when plugged in, which makes it easier to identify the active part of the tablet. It also includes a dual control dial that can be used as a virtual trackpad as well as a physical dial that you can customize the effect of, meaning it will always be suited to your tastes.

EASE OF USE: 『 ✦✦✦✦✧ 』

The instructions to install the XP-PEN driver were easy to understand. I had no trouble downloading the driver and setting up my tablet. The interface on the driver application is very simple; I was able to adjust my tablet properties without an issue.

The tablet worked beautifully and I was surprised to see how smoothly I could draw with it. The only issue I had was with the sensitivity of the pen’s right click button, as I sometimes had to click several times or press harder to get the action to register.

CONCLUSION:『 ✦✦✦✦✧ 』

All together, I really enjoyed using the Deco Pro. It is a solid tablet that delivers on what it promises, and feels like it will last for a long time. I think artists of any experience will be able to draw on the Deco Pro.

At a price point of $99.99, it is a third the price of one of my tablets, and works just as well! I would recommend it to beginner and intermediate artists as a high quality investment, but I believe it will serve professionals too! If you're looking to buy a tablet that doesn't have a display screen, I would highly suggest to purchase this one.
