If you’ve ever dreamt of owning and flying your own single engine airplane, watch this. Today’s story, we are covering Karl, a private pilot from New York. Karl just recently became a pilot, and like many dream pilots out there, he bought his own airplane to fly; a 1963 piper cherokee 235.

I enjoy covering stories like this because it inspires me as well. Not everyone will travel the the same path in their pilot journey, and Karl certainly took a much different route when he decided to purchase his own plane for training and eventually freedom of flying.

If you’re wondering the cost, well we’ll cover that more in-depth in upcoming videos. As per the purchase price, Karl bought his plane for $35,000. And with it he purchased a whole lot of freedom because now he can get in the air whenever he damn well pleases.
