Subnautica 2 just got a brand-new developer update from Unknown Worlds, and Creative Director Anthony Gallegos revealed a LOT about what is coming next in Early Access.
In this video, we go over everything discussed in the new Subnautica 2 dev vlog, including the Early Access 1.1 Adaptive Measures update dropping on July 8th, the next 1.2 multiplayer update coming some weeks after, and the huge EA2 content drop planned for later in the year.
Adaptive Measures is the first proper feedback-focused update for Subnautica 2 Early Access, adding more BioLabs to the early game, more Biomod options, unlockable passive Biomod slots, creature flinches, Sonic Resonator stun states, improved Blight encounters, better wreck gameplay, PDA audio log playback, voice line prioritisation, and a new personal storage option for your base.
The devs also confirmed that Update 1.2 will focus on multiplayer features like Proximity Chat, Player Revive and more co-op improvements.
Then later in the year, Subnautica 2 is getting its big EA2 content drop with a new region, new creatures, a new vehicle chassis, new progression, new story content and much more.
