Trophies and trophy presentations have had a long and storied tradition in the sport, starting off with from small trackside gatherings of winners sponsors and organise through to modern-day where elaborate sideshows with levitating cars and dancing matadors with giant sombreros become somehow commonplace and sponsor trophies which I hate, have become commonplace if not the norm in modern racing.

That being said some are so terrible that they are actually good...and over the years we have had some exceptions to the tradition and some wild and whacky designs have been dished out, today I’m going to take a look at five of the weird but what I would consider wonderful designs of F1 trophies
