Caught on camera: Man carjacked while streaming on Facebook live

Police in Washington are asking the public to help them identify carjacking suspects whose crime was caught on Facebook live.

38-year-old Warsaw Anagaw of Amhara state opposes the Ethiopian government in his broadcasts back home.

Last Sunday, as he talked, they interrupted from both sides.

As he told us today, when he exited his car, they took his wallet.

Seconds after he's out of the car, one of the suspected carjackers is behind the wheel, moving west on Kennedy street.

Perhaps people in Ethiopia are startled, the carjacker seems to figure out he's on camera and whacks the phone.

Though no such word from dc police, Anagaw wonders if the Ethiopian government is involved.
