Why Even Try (Acoustic) From Us For You
It felt right that on the day that we celebrate Scottie Mills Birthday we would release a little acoustic video of us playing his favorite jam from "Leave What's Lost Behind". Scottie was a huge advocate for this song since the very beginning of its lyrical and melodic life. I'll never forget getting a phone call late one evening where a very passionate Scott let me know how important he thought this song could be for us and the people that listen to our music. At the time I hadn't finished the last verse and Chorus and I was struggling to find the right thing to say to finish out the song. Scottie has always been a huge cheerleader for me (and really anyone around him) and that encouragement has always propelled this band forward. It certainly propelled this song forward. Hope yall enjoy it.
Peace!
