This is Fasty's official fitting video for the roof box hoist strap.

The Fasty Box Lift strap allows one person to easily move a roof box or surf board from the top of the car to the garage ceiling.

2 x 25mm straps, black, 400cm. 4 x suspension brackets and 8 x screws.

The Fasty box lift is a great way to store your roof box when space is a premium.

Everything you need is supplied within the box - 4 metal plates, 8 screws and 2 straps.

Use 2 screws per plate and fix each plate to the garage ceiling.

Leave enough gap to fit the strap between the plate and the roof, Once the strap is in place secure each plate.

Attach the strap into the ratchet buckle as shown.

Adjust the strap so there is enough room to fit your roof box inside the 2 loops.

Once the box is resting inside both straps, take the weight of the box and adjust the front and rear straps.

To remove the box, simply reverse the process making sure to take the weight of the box before loosening the straps.
