This Oregon Classic lives up to its reputation as one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. We had rapidly rising levels that nearly doubled in volume while we were on the river, but the boatable range is so wide that it was difficult to notice. This is a very manageable, but steep, class IV pool-drop run with one class V (Big Fluffy) and two others that may demand a look to see the line. Thors Playroom (Throne Room?) is the longest, biggest, and most complex rapid on the run, but it also ends in a giant pool right at the takeout. It's an easy one to look at when you're setting shuttle as well... just a short walk to the river from the takeout parking lot/trailhead.

Put this on your list. I can't wait to go back.

The battery on my GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition died just before Thor's, so you get to see a screen test between it and my backup Hero 3 White Edition, which is pretty obviously different.
