Saving Lives on Thailand’s Roads: Bosch’s Mission for Safer Mobility

Bosch is dedicated to making roads safer for everyone around the world. In Thailand, the Bosch accident research team is collaborating with local experts to investigate traffic accidents and gather important data to improve the situation. More than 800,000 people were injured in road accidents in 2023. Of them, more than 14,000 lost their lives. In terms of its total population, this makes the southeast Asian country one of the most dangerous places in the world to drive.

Learn about the challenges faced on Thailand's roads together with Thomas Lich, head of Bosch's accident research team, and his project partners at the Central Institute of Forensic Science (CIFS) in Bangkok. Discover how Bosch and the CIFS aims to establish the Thailand In-Depth Accident Science (TIDAS) database, modeled after Germany's GIDAS, to scientifically analyze and reduce road accidents in Thailand.
