Delicious food undoubtedly touches the soul, and when accompanied by the seamless ambience and delightful company, you know you’re about to have a nostalgic day. I decided to refresh my palate, and to give you a glimpse of my experience, here’s a food review of Moki Bar & Kitchen.
Perched upon the dense valley of Sangolda, Goa, this rooftop bar will surely leave a lasting impression on you. We tried their fusion cuisine, and it was a delicate balance of different flavours from across south India.
Choosing from their selection was almost a task. However, we narrowed down on the Tomato Rasam Soup, Prawns in a Piggy Blanket served with a Mango Ketchup Dip, Gunpowder Rub Cheese stuffed Chicken Breast, Jackfruit Sukka with Dosa, and Coorgi Pork Curry. To wind it all up, we had quite an interesting live demonstration of our dessert, the Coffee Crème Brulee, and yes, it was worth the wait!
Our little excursion went marvellously. The soul food we tried was just what I needed to add a little balance to my life. Yes, this is a fitness channel, but what’s the point in staying fit and healthy if you don’t take a little step towards enjoying life?
