Yah Ribon Olam Vealmaya - Giora Feidman יה ריבון עלם ועלמיא - גיורא פיידמן

Klezmer music (instrumental). This song is sung at the Sabbath table during the festive meal in the evening and again on the following day. It is in Aramaic and was written by Rabbi Israel Najara, who lived during the 16th century in Safed (Tzfat), where he was a student of the Arizal, and then near Damascus and in his later life served as the Rabbi of the Jewish community in Gaza, which was the third biggest Jewish community in the Holy Land during those days, where he died at around 1625. He wrote more than 1000 songs and hymns.
