Filey Bay whisky: interview with the founder Dave Thompson

Among the most appreciated surprises at the recent Milan Whisky Festival were undoubtedly the whiskies from Spirits of Yorkshire Distillery, which I had been eager to try for quite some time.

To my great delight, I had the chance to meet and chat with David Thompson, one of the founders.

Beyond learning more about this Yorkshire distillery, it was also an intriguing opportunity to discuss some hot topics, such as the concept of terroir in the whisky world… a subject that is gaining more and more attention.
