When Baltar's Escape first aired on 11 March 1978, there was a real world battle in play over some of Earth's oldest political propaganda. The topic would be revisited 5 months later on the 9th of August by way of broadcast journalist Barbara Walters.

Kudos to writer Donald Bellisario and producer Glen Larson for implementing a UAP Universal vision that should have elevated humanity's understanding and bolstered its esprit de corp.
