How quickly could you react and stop a leak from a burst pipe, burst washing machine house, or other surprise leak? In some cases, a leak may not be detected in time to mitigate damages - especially if the issue occurs in the basement - or worse, while you weren't home. As plumbers, it's something we see all the time, and it can be devastating for a homeowner.

Here's how it works: a special shutoff valve is installed at the water's point of entry to the home. This device connects wirelessly to sensors that are placed anywhere in the home that could be at risk for a leak (under your sink, for example). As soon as water comes into contact with the sensor, the device will cut the water supply to the home. It will also send you a notification to your cell phone, and tell you where in the home the water was detected.
