Avoid this tourist SCAM in Colombo, Sri Lanka. 🇱🇰

When travelling in Sri Lanka as a foreigner you'll no doubt be approached by men who try to appear as friendly citizens. They will attempt to coax you to somewhere, such as a "beautiful temple that you must go and see." Watch as this man follows me through the streets, desperately trying to convince me to go see the (fake) "Tsunami Temple", despite me showing zero interest in it.

These scammers and their cheap tricks are not representative of the genuine good people of Sri Lanka. Unfortunately, as foreigner, they will be seeking you out so it would be easy to think that every local is bad when in fact it's a very small number of bad people.
